Registration and Welcome Evenings
For children who have previously participated there will be a Registration Evening on 18 February, 19.30 to 21.00, at which details (and payments!) will be taken.

For children newly joining, and allocated a place, a Welcome Evening will be held on Monday 27 April. Parents/Guardians should attend from 18.30 – 19.30 (drop in). There will be an opportunity for the children to have a look at the boats that are used for training.  Stage 2 children should bring their logbooks with them.

Course Information
Training will start at 17.30 with students changed and dressed to go on the water. The boats will be off the water by 20.00 with students able to be collected about 20.30. Please ensure your child is collected promptly. Instructors are not free to leave until all children have been collected. Instructional staff will be available from 17.00.

All students must be signed in/out of HSC. An instructor will be available in the foyer to assist with this. Students should have their own wetsuits and wear appropriate footwear (welly boots are not to be worn). As a wetsuit does not provide warmth when not in the water students MUST be in possession of a lightweight windproof and waterproof jacket or sailing oversuit to be worn when weather conditions dictate.

Buoyancy aids will be provided for those not having their own. Own buoyancy aids will be checked for fit and condition. Those whose are deemed unsuitable will be provided with a club one.

All students must be in possession of a complete change of dry clothing, shoes and towel.

Course Fee and Membership
The course fee is £150. Payment can be made by BACS or cheque. A £3 service charge will be applied to payments by Credit/Debit card.
Parents of children under 12 on 1st March 2020 must have membership of HSC.
Students over the age of 12 on 1st of March 2020 must take out Cadet membership if their parents are not members of HSC.
