Course Information

Training will start at 0930 hrs with students changed and dressed to go on the water. The boats will be off the water by 1600 hrs with students able to be collected at 1630 hrs. Please ensure your child is collected promptly.  Instructors are not free to leave until all children have been collected. Instructional staff will be available from 0915.

All students must be signed in/out of HSC. An instructor will be available in the foyer to assist with this. If you already have a logbook, please bring this on day 1 and leave it with your instructor.  Please bring a packed lunch/snacks each day.

Students should have their own wetsuits and wear appropriate footwear (welly boots are not to be worn).  As a wetsuit does not provide warmth when not in the water students MUST be in possession of a lightweight windproof and waterproof jacket or sailing oversuit to be worn when weather conditions dictate.

Buoyancy aids will be provided for those not having their own.  Own buoyancy aids will be checked for fit and condition.  Those whose are deemed unsuitable will be provided with a club one.

All students must be in possession of a complete change of dry clothing, shoes and towel.
