Training Dates

Monday 17th July - Friday 21st July 09.15 to 16.45

Course Information

Training will start at 09.15 with students changed and dressed to go on the water. The boats will be off the water by 16.15 with students able to be collected at 16.45. Please ensure your child is collected promptly.  Instructors are not free to leave until all children have been collected. Instructional staff will be available from 09.00.

All students must be signed in/out of HSC. An instructor will be available in the foyer to assist with this.

Students should have their own wetsuits and wear appropriate footwear (welly boots are not to be worn).  As a wetsuit does not provide warmth when not in the water students MUST be in possession of a lightweight windproof and waterproof jacket or sailing oversuit to be worn when weather conditions dictate.

Buoyancy aids will be provided for those not having their own.  Own buoyancy aids will be checked for fit and condition.  Those whose are deemed unsuitable will be provided with a club one.

All students must be in possession of a complete change of dry clothing, shoes and towel.

Course Fee and Membership

The course fee is £200 and temporary membership of HSC is granted for the duration of the course. For under 12s this is Non-Sailing Parent membership for a parent/guardian as well as for the child - see the "About" page for full details of HSC membership options.
